Springtime and SEER Magic
New product drop + interview in The Kin Ship feat. Rebecca Spitaleri (Seeri Koko)
The warm tree trunk, the glow of my daughter's blonde hair, the cold breeze of springtime, dandelions bursting open in what feels like the first real sun of the season-
It is May and the whole earth is bursting again with life : a relief. As much as I love and invite the slow down of winter, I am so so glad to have sun, rain, signs of life, flowers returning, and so on.
Flowering trees are my favorite as they combine two of my great loves. Only too fleeting. I sit pushing the petals around that have fallen from the neighbors cherry blossom and remember how simple it can be. I dream of magnolias. I touch the service berry blooms and they fall like confetti across my mantle. I draw the apple blossoms and remember the sweet brief smell. Quince flowers. Mock orange. Lilacs just beginning. It's all too much! I am grateful to be in my garden again. I can feel that fuzzy feeling of life on-the-verge down here. The pre-flower emerging. Greens. Oh the greens of life are so hopeful. Who can deny it? This time of year, around here... You'd have to be a real downer to ignore such signs.
Anything is possible if you pay attention to it.
This month I am working on a few new products I'll be releasing over the next several weeks. Today however, I am sooo excited to finally release a very special balm I've been working on for months.
In collaboration with Rebecca Spitaleri (@seeri_koko), our Kin Ship guest today
Introducing- S E E R Matcha Green Dragon Balm.
A whipped tallow balm blended with ceremonial grade matcha and Camellia sinesis leaf (Green Tea) oil. Green tea is known for its synergy with red light therapy for enhanced skin rejuvenation, vitality, and antioxidant protection. It also offers anti-bacterial and anti-aging properties. Green tea contains powerful antioxidants called polyphenols which can help protect skin from UV damage and promote healing.
Made with grass fed and finished tallow, as always! Three simple ingredients to feed and protect your skin. Whipped in texture and green in color (but not on your skin!) This balm may be used anywhere but the face is the place of intention.

Thank you for reading and supporting. I'm excited to put this baby out into the world !
And now, read on to learn more about my collaborator….
Tell us a little about yourself (who are you, where you are from, or any other places you’d call home etc)?
I am originally from Long Island New York but I moved to Black Mountain North Carolina in the summer of 2013 and have been here ever since.
I know you as a lady of many interests+ talents - What is something you've been focusing on lately? For fun or otherwise?
I am currently very much focused on buying a house! This is a new endeavor for me and feels like a huge chapter unfolding in my personal life. I’ve also been assisting my partner in filming and shooting a couple of music videos, it’s been fun being a camera girl.
Aside from that I am still recovering from the hurricane and returning my focus to the land and special location - spots that I have tended to over these years. Revisiting and resting assured that it will recover, too.
Do you have a certain routine that helps shape your days?
My morning practice is my foundation. It is streamlined now and sets the tone for the rest of the day. I have a virgo ascendant, so structure and routine feel incredibly important to my livelihood.
What are you reading lately?
The Hearing Trumpet by Leonora Carrington
What gives you the most pleasure in your life?
Spontaneous adventures. The sea. Long bike rides, fresh seafood…summer, I guess.
What is something commonly misunderstood about you?
I have a very fiery tongue and like to speak up to the unspeakable...this might come off as arrogant, elusively and slavishly disrespectful, to some. But I truly mean well and my intention is innocently driven. I think I enjoy perspective shifts and want to encourage that in others.
What are some things that help you feel supported while living in the world today?
Purification rituals, time alone, long walks in the woods, spring water.
Any non-negotiables when it comes to your day to day?
A hot shower at least once a day — but most of the time it’s two. I also really like to take an after dinner walk. Legs up the wall before bed. No screens upon waking.
Any upcoming projects you want to share? Things you’re currently looking forward to?
I am currently finishing up a small project. It’s a zine for my postpartum business that I founded over the last 4 years. I’m also at the tail end of completing my ordained ministry license so I can legally baptize people in water.
